You know that feeling: curled up on the couch in your comfiest oversized pajamas, a glass of wine in hand and rain tapping gently on the windows, as you binge-watch the latest Netflix series. That’s pretty much how it felt watching 2024 go by – a year that played out like a binge-worthy, can’t-miss drama. Every month felt like a new episode, packed with its own rollercoaster of emotions.

- JOY – Two of our very own KQers are expecting their first little ones—just a week apart! Naturally, we couldn’t wait to host a special celebration. Picture this: a room full of nearly two dozen new aunties and uncles, laughter echoing as they showered the soon-to-be parents with love, gifts and advice. They’ll be here before we know it, and we’re counting down the days to celebrate their arrival.
- INSPIRATION – From watching students learn life lessons by serving at homeless shelters to donations for nonprofits and beyond, this year reminded us that true impact often comes from doing more with less. With every gift of time, every thoughtful gesture and every resource shared, we couldn’t help but be inspired by the extraordinary people we served.
- FRUSTRATION – The changing political environment visibly changed some corporate
company values and led to some tough and uncomfortable conversations. Seemingly overnight, three little letters now symbolized three dirty words for some. It wasn’t always easy, but we pushed forward, standing firm in our values and reminding ourselves why we do what we do. - PRIDE – There’s such a feeling of pride and accomplishment each time you win a significant contract. This year, we pulled out several wins, most notably earning the coveted marketing contract for the Memphis Airport Authority. That, and being named Best PR Firm of the Year (over 15 employees), were a testament to our team’s hard work and commitment, giving us plenty to celebrate.
- EXCITEMENT – And let’s not forget the moments that had us on the edge of our seats! Our team exceeded goals, boosting social media engagement for multiple clients by more than 100%, achieving double-digit growth in awareness to establish recognizable brands for businesses and organizations and securing national and nontraditional media coverage—including a client’s Instagram interview with a Love is Blind celebrity. Watching our team’s creativity soar this year was like watching a masterclass in “making it happen.”
- SADNESS – Every good show has its tear-jerker moments, too. This year, we said goodbye to a few talented team members and cherished clients as they moved on to exciting new opportunities. It’s never easy to part ways with the good ones, but we cheered them on, grateful for the chapters we shared.
- GRATEFULNESS – And through it all, gratitude was our anchor. Even in a year that felt flat at times, I walked into the office each day with an appreciative heart. I marvel at what God continues to do through KQ—blessing us with creative ideas to grow businesses, strategic solutions to guide organizations through difficulties and a community of caring, passionate people. Our clients and team are truly the heart of everything we do.
As the KQ family moved through each episode of 2024, not every day was perfect, but HAPPINESS remained the throughline. We laughed, collaborated, and celebrated as we turned
challenges into opportunities and ideas into impact.
